Some of our Services

Implants

The implant fixture is first placed, so that it is likely to osseointegrate, then a dental prosthetic is added.

More
Fillings

To treat a cavity your dentist will remove the decayed portion of the tooth and then “fill” the area on the tooth where the decayed material once lived.

More
Cleaning

During a routine cleaning, the hygienist uses a small, metal scaler to scrape off tartar above and below the gum line, and/or an ultrasonic vibrating device to loosen plaque and tartar.

More
Sealants

Sealants protect the grooved and pitted surfaces of the teeth from bacteria and an acidic environment. They are especially effective on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth where most cavities in children are found.

More
Prevention

The most important part of preventive dentistry is to brush teeth with fluoride toothpaste approved by ADA.

More
Dental X-Rays

Dental X-rays detect much more than cavities. They may be taken to survey erupting teeth, diagnose bone disease, evaluate the results of an injury, or plan orthodontic treatment.

What our patients say

It’s always a pleasure to visit Dogwood Pediatric Dentistry. The ladies in there are so sweet and helpful. I feel that Dr. Reed takes care of the children as if they were his own!
The waiting room was bright and inviting and the staff was warm and friendly. They discussed everything with my three year old before doing anything so that he would know what was happening. They did such a good job that my little girl decided she wanted to join in on the fun too. They treated us well and pretended that she was getting a real exam, prize at the end included! Scheduling was easy and we will be using them in the future.
We love Dr. Reed, he’s the BEST! It’s an awesome environment that plays K-LOVE. Won’t be going anywhere else. We’re here to stay!!! Front office is amazing, also. Definitely where God led us to be.
I wish I could bring Dr. Reed to NC where we moved! My kids have no fear of dentist because of him. My son does not understand much English but, he and the staff made us so comfortable that it didn’t matter. He treats the kids like his own. He has the heart and patience of a father of nine kids. He chose the methods that were best for each kid. I would recommend him wholeheartedly.
